The Last Waltz (1978) is widely considered one of the greatest concert films ever made. Directed by Academy Award-winner Martin Scorsese, the documentary captures the historic farewell performance of roots-rock legends The Band on Thanksgiving Day, 1976, at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom. More than just a concert film, it is a cinematic celebration of an era, weaving high-energy performances from music royalty—including Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, and Eric Clapton—with candid, backstage interviews that explore the highs and lows of life on the road.

This event is free and open to the public. No ticket required.
