Adult Wind Ensemble

Adult Wind Ensemble

Adult Wind Ensemble

Each week, adults both new to and familiar with playing a wind instrument are welcome to Adult Wind Ensemble (AWE) rehearsal. Over the last few semesters, the AWE community has grown from about nine folks to nearly 30 (and counting). This ensemble has shared silly rehearsals, exciting performances, and lots of laughs. You will play familiar tunes, new pieces, and meet new people. Each semester culminates in a community-based performance (or two)!

This class is for fun in a relaxed, supportive environment and is designed for those with foundational knowledge of, and the ability to play, their instrument proficiently.

This class welcomes all wind instrument players—even those who haven’t dusted off their horn in a while.
