Adult Piano Class
In Adult Piano class, beginner and intermediate pianists build a strong musical foundation through technique, musicality, note-reading, music theory, terminology, and more. Each class session stands on its own—designed to meet you exactly where you are—so you can join one or both for a deeper dive into your piano journey.
The purpose of this class is to have fun while improving your piano skills and building connections with other pianists.
This program is for all adults, ages 18 and up.
Beginner Class: No prerequisites are required to participate in this class.
Intermediate Class: This class is designed for students who already possess basic music reading skills in both treble & bass clef, and are comfortable with fundamental piano techniques, including playing with both hands.
Session #1: September 8–October 13
- Beginner Class: Tuesdays, 6:00 PM–6:50 PM
- Intermediate Class: Tuesdays, 7:00 PM–7:50 PM
Session #2: October 27–December 8
- Beginner Class: Tuesdays, 6:00 PM–6:50 PM
- Intermediate Class: Tuesdays, 7:00 PM–7:50 PM
- There will not be a class held on November 24.
You may register for whichever class(es) best fit your schedule. We recommend enrolling in either:
- One class total, or
- One class from each session
Students are required to provide their own book, Alfred’s Basic Adult Piano Course Adult All-In-One Course Level 1 (Continued with Faber 3A)
- One session: $115
- Both sessions: $200
A non-refundable $25 deposit is required at checkout to reserve your spot. This deposit is applied toward your total tuition. If attending one session, the remaining $90 is due one week before the program starts. If attending both sessions, the remaining $175 is due one week before your session(s) begin.

- Department Cancellation: If the department cancels a class session, you will receive a full refund.
- 15+ Days Before Class Start: Full refund minus the $25 deposit.
- 8–14 Days Before Class: 50% refund of the amount paid, minus the $25 deposit.
- Fewer Than 7 Days Before Class: No refunds will be issued.
- Class sessions are not prorated for vacation, illness, or missed days.
Register by September 1 for session #1.
Register by October 20 for session #2.
